Vogue V1944 (2023), view b, oversized shirt, v.2

I loved v.1 so much that I made another one! Everything is the same, except I overlocked/serged the raw edges before doing the clean seam finishes. And feel I managed most things more neatly the second time around.

This time I used a digitally printed viscose, 100% viscose, 110gsm. This is more papery, more prone to creasing, than the challis, and not as slinky. But still makes for a lovely shirt. With a print this busy I didn't bother trying to pattern match. Unusually, I had a choice of four different button colours that would have worked, but went with black to pull it back a little, to work better as a separate.

When prints are plants I feel they inherently have a season. I'm delighted with to have this more autumnal option in my wardrobe, and can see myself making new season variants whenever I encounter suitable fabrics.
