New year, new profile.

I write mostly about e-textiles and wearable tech, especially from the hobbyist do-it-yourself perspective. I'm a fan of micro-controllers; Arduino, LilyPad, Flora and their ilk.

I'll often divert to discussing linux, getting different kinds of software/hardware working, and general software ranting.

I'm a crafter and will sometimes post on projects I've sewn, embroidered, crocheted, beaded, or otherwise attached together.

I even ocassionally post on maker gatherings, CoderDojo sessions, hackerspaces, and other events in the real world.

This journal is not personal in the tell-you-everything-about-my-life way. It's a log, a record of things I've made, tried, and plan on giving a go.

If I follow you don't feel the need to follow me back. Also, please don't be offended if I don't follow you back; I feel strange reading someone elses deepest darkest thoughts when I'm not offering my own in return. Especially if we haven't even been introduced.
