chebeJust a quick note to let you know I'm still around, just swamped by college work.
One thing I'd like to recommend to all sewists is PatternReview.com. You have to create an account to read reviews that are older than 6 months, but it's worth it. The problems I've been having with New Look #6464 and Kwik Sew #2100 are shared by others on the site. If I'd read up before I would probably have saved myself some heartache. (Not all my problems mind, but general ones certainly.) Plus, with an account you get to keep a 'pattern stash', an online record of all the patterns you have. Guaranteed to be helpful in the future.
Otherwise I'm off to MakerFaire UK this weekend! I am quite excited, expect general squeeing, and maybe something nearly coherent enough to be a report some time after I return. Okay, back to work!
