Once again down the back-up rabbit hole
2022-Sep-20, Tuesday 08:17 pmTo back up your Dreamwidth account (minus the comments) with ljArchive *is* still possible.
1. In ljArchive create a New Archive, name it whatever you want
2. Login: your dreamwidth username
3. Password: see below
4. Tick 'Alternate Server' and enter; 'https://dreamwidth.org' (no www)
5. Save and sync
Okay, for the password field you don't actually use your password. You generate a new API key in Mobile Post Settings, and then copy that key to use in the password field in ljArchive. Full instructions here.
There are other clients option available to you; wiki post on compatible clients.
