Keeping on the simpler projects train. I had this very 90s fuzzy jumper, that I never wore, because the neck was too high and too tight over the head. In an effort to get some wear out of it, I fitted a zipper.

Here's the before; fuzzy, thick embroidered patch high on the chest, high narrow neckline.

The operation was simple; turn the jumper inside out, mark a straight line the embroidered patch to the neckline. Reinforce that marked area with stiff fusible interfacing. Then cut along the line. Place a short chunky zipper in the gap, lapping the cut edges up against the teeth, no folds or anything. Straight stitch in place. Finish the zipper ends. And now the jumper is much more wearable. Or will be, when it stops being so hot outside.
