There's a conference in Galway on the 26th and 27th of this month, on social media, BlogTalk. Looking at the line-up I'm both interested in the companies presenting, and disappointed that there are only two female presenters, and both will be co-presenting. I mean, it's social media, one of the few places where there is plenty (if still not enough) of female input.

Still, I'm interested in attending, but it being on a Thursday and Friday makes it more awkward, not to mention that it seems one of my bosses will be presenting. The student tickets for two days are €99, and that's before travel and accommondation. I don't know, guess I'll have a think about it.

:( So much has suddenly been scheduled for those two days that it's very unlikely I'll get the chance now. I'm going to keep an eye out and see where it's headed next year. Might work a nice holiday around it.
