Base layers. Not the cold weather kind, but the kind that protect you from your clothes, and your clothes from you. Made from a, well, slippy-er, fabric, this could be part of a slip. But as it is, it's just a camisole. Perfect for under tops like shirts, where unruly buttons might cause embarrassment. To reduce a certain degree of clinging, and nuisance bodily fluids. And foiling transparency. But not something I would consider wearing on its own.

Taking the Hush-A-Bye jersey vest, and on top of the changes for version 1, I added in the missing seam allowance on the front piece along the side seam up to the bust under-arm point. And I extended the back piece up to the front neckline point, adding 6.5cm to the top. Essentially removing the gap between the back two rows of lace in v.1.

Same fabric, Bamboo Jersey Fabric in black, 95% Bamboo, 5% Spandex (60% crosswise and 40% lengthwise), 220 g/m2, with a cute 18mm black stretch lace with a heart motif.

The construction alters slightly, simplifying to;
- sew the side seams with a 0.5cm seam allowance, 1.0 narrow zigzag,
- narrow stretch lightning stitch to sew the lace to top and bottom edges,
- hand stitch the straps on, and to finish the lapping lace.

It's a lovely little top. It fits with a stretch to the body, so the straps are basically decorative. This lace is softer, and stretchier than the previous one, which makes the straps even less effective. If they start to annoy me I'll add clear elastic, or maybe even bra strapping, to them. But otherwise it does exactly what I want.
