Last minute Crafting?

Hey guys, we've had a couple of cancellations for tonight, and I know it's last minute, but if you're up for it (we have tea and coffee!) drop by! We'd love to see you :)

My initial idea is to start with a baseball cap, like this one: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/hats-ties/7c73/ which already has pockets in it for batteries and electronics and place the led at the edge of the brim where I can see it, possibly to work as an optional flashlight, similar to: http://www.amazon.com/LED-Baseball-Cap-Clip-Flashlight/dp/B002GWJ2V8

So, you need a NorthPaw (http://sensebridge.net/projects/northpaw/instructions/step-1/) for compass, and LEDs for display. As you're using a cap you can use wire if you prefer, as it will be hard to sew the cap unless you get a really soft one. It's essentially step 2 of that link, but LEDs instead of vibrating boards. Then add enough batteries, and hide the circuit in the cap. Flashlight would be a separate circuit most likely. But yeah, totally doable, and looks like fun!
